An established mid-tier public practice firm is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join their Business Services team. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare income tax returns and special purpose financial reports for a range of clients
- Assist with research and preparation of practical, written tax advice
- Exposure to Div 7A, tax planning, PSI, trust issues, GST, and CGT
- Interpret taxation and other relevant legislation with confidence
- Manage and maintain client matters within your portfolio
- Collaborate with Partners, Managers, and team members to deliver exceptional client service
- Mentor and support graduates and junior accountants
- 2–3 years’ experience in a business services role within public practice
- CA qualified or currently undertaking CA
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and MS Office Suite
- Regular training and development with partner-level mentoring
- CA/ARITA study support
