Job description
We’re partnering with a well-established and independently owned accounting and financial advisory firm based in Melbourne’s CBD. With over two decades of client success and a collaborative leadership team, the firm prides itself on delivering long-term, strategic financial solutions to a loyal client base.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manager who is passionate about both technical excellence and team development.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and manage end-to-end tax compliance across a diverse portfolio
- Conduct client meetings, deliver advice, and identify new advisory opportunities
- Provide strategic tax and structuring advice, including group planning
- Mentor junior and senior
- Oversee workflow, billing targets, and team productivity
- Collaborate with directors on internal reporting, budgeting, and staff performance
What We’re Looking For:
- CA/CPA qualified
- Strong background in tax compliance and business advisory
- Prior experience managing a team within public practice
- Confident communicator who can build trusted client relationships
- Strong working knowledge of Xero, XPM, and current tax legislation
- Proactive and organised, with a solutions-focused mindset
