Job description
Looking to take the next step in your accounting career with a supportive, people-first firm that values your growth?We're working with a highly respected Business Advisory team in the Eastern Suburbs who are on the lookout for a client-focused Intermediate Accountant. You’ll work closely with experienced Managers and Partners across a diverse portfolio of clients — gaining valuable exposure and career development opportunities in a genuinely flexible environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning, execution, and completion of client assignments
- Prepare financial statements, management accounts, and annual accounts
- Complete tax returns including GST, PAYG, and FBT
- Liaise directly with clients to provide information and resolve queries
- Analyse financial and non-financial information to help improve performance
- Create detailed reports that highlight key business drivers
- Build your knowledge of leading management accounting software
What we’re looking for:
- 2+ years’ experience in public practice
- Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance
- CA/CPA qualified or currently completing
- Confident with cloud-based tools like Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, APS etc.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- A positive, team-oriented mindset
