Junior Accountant | CBD Location | Public Practice Accounting

We’re working with a highly respected mid-tier accounting firm located in the heart of the CBD, currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with up to 12 months of experience in accounting (or a recent graduate with some work exposure) to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of accounting tasks in a collaborative and supportive environment.

 Responsibilities include:

• Preparing financial statements and reports
• Processing invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
• Supporting month-end and year-end close
• Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry
• Assisting with tax lodgements and compliance
• Liaising with the ATO, SRO, ASIC, and other regulatory bodies
• Other accounting tasks as required

 About You:
• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Up to 6–12 months of experience in accounting (internships count!)
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software (Xero preferred)
• High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Confident communicator with a proactive mindset
• Must have full working rights in Australia (PR or Citizenship required)
