Job description
We are currently working with a dynamic and innovative local government authority, who are based in the inner suburbs. They have a requirement for an Cert IV qualified Animal Management Officer to provide support to the wider team during the busy registration period.
This hands on role will involve confidently and safely conducting animal picks ups. You must have the ability to differentiate between various species of dogs and cats and be self-assured with the management of such animals. You will be a motivated individual who can follow direction and work well autonomously.
You must have excellent interpersonal skills as you will liaising with the community, informing them about the need for registrations and ensure that local council laws, relating to Animal Management, is upheld.
