Job description

This local government authority based in the South Western suburbs, are seeking a Community Engagement Officer to assist across 3 main areas - volunteers management, schools and events and other community groups. The main responsibility of the role will be to assist in implementing the Recycling Engagement Plan.
About the role:
- Reviewing and refining the current Engagement plan
- Implement the events program
- Providing reports in an accurate and timely manner
- Undertake other relevant duties as directed by internal stakeholders
Skills & Experience
- Highly developed written communication skills including promoting events & Activities
- High level of community engagement skills and experience
- Experience in project planning in a community setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
