The Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of SME clients, providing end-to-end compliance and advisory services. You'll work closely with Partners and Managers, with the opportunity to mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvement.
Duties Include:
- Preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, and Individuals
- Managing BAS, IAS, FBT, and CGT obligations
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and providing strategic advice
- Building strong client relationships and being a trusted point of contact
- Supporting and reviewing work of junior accountants as required
- Participating in team training, development, and process enhancement
- 100% Work-from-Home flexibility (with optional office space if preferred)

- Ongoing training and CA/CPA support if desired
- Salary up to $100K–$120K + super (depending on experience)
- 5+ years’ experience in public practice accounting
- CA/CPA qualified (or near completion)
- Strong technical knowledge across tax and compliance
- Confident communicator, comfortable building client relationships remotely
- Able to manage your workflow independently and take initiative
- Previous experience with cloud-based accounting software (e.g. Xero, APS, MYOB AE)
