About the Role
This is a great opportunity to work for one of Australia’s leading business where the global head office sits here in Australia. This position is newly created due to their high-growth agenda over the last few years. Due to the fluid nature of the role, alongside the core component of your role, you will find additional ad-hoc duties to perform. You’ll be joining this high-calibre finance team, to take ownership of the monthly management reporting and support the strategic planning for the Group. Alongside the Group Financial Controller, you’ll support the system and process improvements across the business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the Group
- Build and drive the strategic planning through financial modelling
- Take ownership of the Group’s consolidated board report and performance analysis
- Support the creation of business cases with respect to M&A, new products and new markets
To be successful at this role, you will be:
Ideally first mover from mid-tier or Big 4 firms with relevant tertiary qualification (CA/CPA/CIMA) and strong academic background. We are looking for a high achiever.
Ideally a background from either audit, insolvency, transitionary advisory or business services
Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate at all levels
Ability to work well in a fluid role
