About the Role:
The primary purpose of the role is to support the Regional Managers/ Directors by providing ongoing business and finance support. This includes diary management, travel arrangements and preparation of invoices.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide financial support including accounts receivable and accounts payable and ensuring compliance with public sector accounting policies, practices and statutory requirements
- Provide support to Oversee the Branch/ Region records management system, maintain registers, and assist with organising conferences and meetings as required
- Coordinate equipment and resource orders and travel arrangements, assist with organising conferences and meetings for the workgroup, collate papers and coordinate logistical requirements
- Assist with the provision of support and guidance to Branch/ Region staff on matters which affect administration and organisational policies and assist in the delivery of administrative services
- Assess and propose changes to address administrative issues as they arise in the workplace
- Assist with the coordination and tracking of correspondence, briefing notes and other documentation across the Division and assist in drafting and preparation of correspondence, reports and related documentation
About You:
- Must have excellent working knowledge of SAP for raising invoices
- Knowledge of CM9 for registering documents is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Background in business support
- Background in government is essential
