Interim Finance Manager -

  • 6-month contract with immediate start at NSW Government
  • $650 + super/day
  • CBD, Sydney

Opportunity to join one of the Departments within the NSW Government. Role involves management reporting, statutory reporting, government reporting

About the Role

  • Process & system improvements across the department
  • Preparing and producing all divisional management accounting packs including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash-flows
  • Providing analysis on any variances against budget, writing insightful commentaries that can be used by departments
  • Ensuring all reconciliations are completed in a timely manner, checking the Balance Sheet and GL integrity
  • Ensuring all Statutory and regulatory requirements are met by the department

Skills & Experience

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Experience working within a Government Department
  • Experience working in a similar role – process improvement and with a system focus
  • Excellent communication and written skills
