About the Company:

Our client is a Globally recognised company within the hospitality sector and have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer. Currently have over 19,000 employees in Australia. Located in the CBD, they require an experienced Payroll Officer with Preceda knowledge and strong excel skills.

About the Role: Temporary Payroll Officer opportunity with strong possibility to go permanent.

Your role will include but will not be limited to:

  • Accurately process multiple end to end payrolls
  • Inputting and reconciling of manual time sheets
  • Processing annual and sick leave as well as leave accruals
  • Assisting with monthly reconciliations for all Payroll activities
  • Correctly interpreting multiple EBA’s and awards
  • On boarding and terminating employees including leave entitlements
  • Other ad-hoc administration duties
  • Ongoing testing and implementing new ERP’s system


Ideal candidate

MUST have:

  • Previous experience with Preceda
  • Compliance and reporting
  • Strong Excel skills
  •  High volume payroll
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Ability to prioritise, work with purpose and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail
  • Good organisation skills & able to work to deadline
