The Company:
My client an industry leader not just in Australia but Globally are seeking a Regional Assistant Accountant to join their laid back but high performing team due to an internal move. This role would be ideally suited to an Accounting Degree graduate with over two years experience who has started their CA/CPA and is looking to grow and learn within a global organisation. Reporting in to the regional finance manager and working closely with the regional accountant you will have a hands on approach along with possessing high attention to detail and first class business partnering skills.
About the Role:
- Daily Reconciliations
- Month-end reporting, account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, prepayments
- Assisting with budgeting & forecasting
- Balance sheet reconciliation, profit & loss
- Maintain the fixed asset register, reconcile with general ledger and conduct regular reviews of the integrity of data in the register
- Management of banking
- Stakeholder engagement with members of senior finance and shared service members
About You:
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Working towards CPA/ CA
- You must have the capacity to operate both independently and as a team member to produce consistently high-quality work
- High attention to detail
- First class communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Exposure to MS Dynamics and Oracle would be extremely advantageous
