Job description
NSW Government Agency is looking for a Security Design Officer to join their team in Blacktown. You will support the design team by preparing security briefs for a large number of capital works programs for educational institutions.
The Role:
- Create Security System Designs involving alarm systems, CCTV and access control systems for schools, based on published specifications and installation guidelines.
- Design cost effective new and upgraded security systems to address the individual needs of schools / education institutions
- Implement current and evolving security technologies such as wireless and IP devices and systems.
- Prepare security designs within strict project timeframes.
- Maintain appropriate records and other documentation in a professional and well written manner
About you:
- Proven experience with intruder alarm, access control and video surveillance systems.
- Understanding of the application of wireless and IP technologies.
- Ability to design security systems to suit specific needs.
- Demonstrate knowledge with desktop computer applications.
- A current drivers licence is desirable
