Security Risk Consultant

Job description

We have partnered with an organisation in Geelong in search for a Security Risk Consultant to join their existing IT Program Delivery team. This will be a 12 month contract due to start asap / October latest.

You will be responsible for the identification, assessment and reporting on information security and technology risks across various technology projects. 

Key Duties:

• Provide risk consultancy and assessment services to manage the Information Security and Technology risks, underlying threats and vulnerabilities across the project portfolio
• Ensure strong governance of risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle 
• Influence Senior Executives Risk, IT, Project Managers to assist in risk reduction activities 
• Partner with project leaders to implement strategic and industry best practice solutions to mitigate risks
• Analyse new products, services and proposals, providing advice to senior leaders 

You will need experience in: 

• Risk management in complex technology environments
• Strategic adoption of cloud based solutions, Agile delivery, innovative solutions and transformational technology change
• Influencing senior executives across a multi-faceted workplace
• Strong communication skills
• Demonstrated experience managing risk activities across the project life cycle
• Understanding of industry project delivery methodologies
