In collaboration with other government agencies, this agency partners to design and build the next generation of critical and non-critical operational communications services for NSW Government agencies, to better enable them to service and protect NSW communities. About the Role:
My client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. This role will be responsible to provide stakeholders with in-depth financial analysis in order to improve business performance and financial control.
Key Accountabilities:
- Liaise and collaborate with client agencies to gather financial and operational data
- Partner with stakeholders to develop budgets, forecasts and business plans to ensure organisational objectives are met
- Provide expert financial advice and support to stakeholders to enable a data based approach to decision making
- Undertake financial and business modelling to support business cases
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to provide insight into issues raised by management and stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met and improve financial performance
About You:
- To be successful you will be an experienced financial analyst with experience working in a similar role
- You have strong analytical skills and are able to present information in a clear and concise manner
- You are a strong communicator with the ability to build good relationships with stakeholders
- Self-motivated and detail focused, you thrive on getting the job done in a busy and complex environment
