Job description
A blue chip financial client of mine are modernising their core banking and payments platform and are on the hunt for a a pair of test analysts with strong hands on skills and a passion for automation, modern testing practices, and ideally a background in banking/finance. There's a fantastic opportunity here for a tester who can write test scenarios (Gherkin) in an Agile environment and has a true collaborative mindset. The team are a unified force, flexible in how they work and a flat heirarchy that means everybody has a say and the best solutions are always on the table.
They're also looking for a test lead with the same mindset and technical automation testing skillset, so if you're a lead who has trusted testers you know and want to work with, there's an opportunity for that too. It's an inital 6 month contract, but due to the size of the project and the nature of the work, there's a great chance for extension. The team here is innovation and teamwork focused, so it will be both a great place to work, and a great place to deliver cutting edge technology.
Skills we need to see:
- 4+ years testing experience
- Strong automation skills - Gherkin
- Agile experience
- Domain knowledge - Banking, payments, financial services.
- SQL Testing
Skills we'd love to see:
- CI/CD experience
- Scrum exposure
- ISTQB Certification
- SSIS/SSRS
