Our client an education body is looking for Team Leader for their appointments team. The role is to start ASAP and is initially contracted for 3 months with the likelihood to be extended. This is a full-time role working Monday – Friday. The position can be based in either Melbourne, Sydney or Canberra. The company operates on a hybrid model, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
This position is responsible for leading and managing the Appointments team, delivering end-to-end employment services including contract generation, onboarding, employment variations, and data accuracy. You’ll work closely with internal HR teams and ensure best-practice service delivery across the employment lifecycle.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a national team in delivering timely and compliant appointment services
- Oversee contract preparation, onboarding, and employment changes
- Maintain high standards of data integrity and ensure accurate staff records
- Collaborate with internal HR teams including Payroll, Talent, and Business Partners
- Monitor performance, report on service volumes, and implement process improvements
- Relevant qualifications and experience in HR or employment operations
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR compliance
- Proven ability to lead a team in a high-volume, detail-oriented environment
- Experience managing case or ticketing systems in shared service settings
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and data analysis skills
