Job description
Customer Service - Service Alerts Optimiser- 6-month Customer Service contract with a leading national broadband provider, based in Perth CBD.
- $36 per hour, ASAP start, hybrid work options, full training and strong team support.
- Fast-paced Service Alerts Optimiser role coordinating field technicians and managing real-time service workflows.
Position Overview
You will play an important role in ensuring customers receive timely and efficient service by monitoring and coordinating field technician work. The role requires quick thinking, strong customer service capability, and the ability to manage a high-volume workflow. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys problem-solving and working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor work orders and customer appointments to ensure deadlines are met
- Identify and resolve jobs at risk due to access issues, delays, or other obstacles
- Conduct pre-visit readiness checks to prevent unnecessary field call outs
- Analyse data to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for scheduling improvements
- Respond to operational impacts such as outages, weather events, and real-time scheduling changes
- Manage high-priority escalations and liaise with field technicians via chat, phone, and email
- Reprioritise technician schedules based on evolving field availability
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by reporting recurring issues
- Previous phone-based customer service experience is essential
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask under pressure
- Experience in scheduling, dispatch, or operational coordination is highly regarded
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational data
- Telecommunications experience is an advantage
