Job description

We have partnered with a well-known organisation in Melbourne looking for an experienced Data Modeler to join a new and established centralised Data Team. The role will be working remotely to begin with and offering for a duration of 6 months, which will extend. The project duration will span into the next 3-4 years and your main responsibility would be around designing and delivering the data models with tools such as Erwin.
Your responsibilities include:
- Designing and deliver conceptual and dimensional data models with Erwin toolset.
- Working closely with the BI Developers
- Work with the Data Engineer in delivering pipelines.
- Regular communication and advice with BI team members and stakeholders.
- Creating Power BI reports for internal business users.
- Advising on data management and governance.
Your experience:
- Previous 2-3 years’ experience as a Data Modeller
- In depth experience in the design of Tables, Views & Cube
- Demonstrated ability in developing Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data models
- Power BI experience
- Open, clear communication styles
- Avid problem solver
- High attention to detail
- Confident ability to advise on technical best practice
