Organisational Development Officer

Develop the Aging workforce strategy project | 3 month contract | Fully remote working | $44 - $50 per hour + super

  • Working for a regional Local Council | Fully remote working
  • Working alongside a Organisational Development Officer and reporting into the Manager Organisational Strategy and Performance
  • Develop a draft Aging Workforce Strategy

About the company

Our client a local council based in regional Victoria is looking for an organisational development officer to join their team. This is a fully remote, full-time role, working Monday – Friday.  The contract is initially for 3 months but could be extended if the project timelines progress.

The main goal if this role is to develop a draft Aging Workforce Strategy in collaboration with the OD Officer who is reviewing/developing our Workforce Strategy and Succession Planning process.

 

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Assess current data relating to an aging workforce to inform recommendations
  • Work with key stakeholders across the organisation to determine progress on implementing initiatives/actions to address an aging workforce
  • Develop a draft Aging Workforce Strategy in collaboration with the OD Officer who is reviewing/developing our Workforce Strategy and Succession Planning process

 

You will have the following:

  • Background in organisational development, specifically workforce strategy / planning
  • An understanding and/or working knowledge of the Gender Equality Act requirements for Local Government
  • Experience working in a Local Government is highly desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrated experience in building relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience working in a compliance driven environment
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and delivering on timelines
