Job description

Technical Writer
Full-time | Hybrid (CBD + Work from Home)
We are seeking a Technical Writer to join my clients software development team and own the complete documentation lifecycle for our software products. You will work closely with the Product Manager to prepare product requirement documents for internal stakeholders, technical documentation for developers, and help centre articles for end-users.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

What you’ll do:
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and update internal and customer-facing documentation.
  • Own and manage all product-related content in our ZenDesk Help Centre – including installation guides, tutorials, and troubleshooting articles.
  • Review and refine our information architecture to ensure content is intuitive and easy to navigate.
  • Produce high-quality visuals – from wireframes and mock-ups for internal projects to polished screenshots and GIFs for customer documentation.
What you’ll bring:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with sharp grammar and attention to detail.
  • A technical mindset and curiosity for learning how things work.
  • Strong experience with wireframing and mock-up tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Lucidchart).
  • Familiarity with task planning and issue-tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, YouTrack, Monday.com).
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a technical writer (or in a software development environment).
  • Relevant qualifications in English, Technical Writing, Media & Communications, IT, or Computer Science.
  • The ability to work independently, ask the right questions, and extract the information you need from stakeholders.
Why you’ll love working with us:
  • Hybrid role with flexible WFH policy and a modern CBD office location.
  • Work that directly impacts thousands of customers worldwide.
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team culture.
  • Annual professional development budget to support your growth.
  • Be part of a technically strong team working within the Microsoft 365 environment.
If you’re detail-oriented, thrive on making technical information accessible, and want to make a real impact through your writing, we’d love to hear from you.
