Job description
Test Lead – WMS – Blue Yonder- Greenfield WMS Implementation
- 12 month FTC
- $125k + Super
This is not just about running test scripts — it’s about leading the test effort across inbound, outbound, returns, inventory management, and integration with ERP Order to Cash processes. You’ll make sure testing is structured, defects are tracked and resolved, and that business stakeholders have confidence in the system before go-live.
The Role
- Define and manage the end-to-end test strategy and plan across SIT, regression, and UAT
- Lead testing across multiple distribution functions (inbound, outbound, returns, inventory)
- Oversee execution of manual and automated test cases, ensuring full coverage of requirements
- Manage defect lifecycle and coordinate resolution with vendors, developers, and business users
- Report on test progress, issues, and risks to project leadership
- Support UAT, ensuring business testers are engaged, prepared, and supported
- Maintain clear documentation of test plans, results, and defect logs for compliance and traceability
About You
- Proven experience as a Test Lead on WMS programs
- Strong knowledge of both manual and automated testing.
- Solid defect management experience.
- Skilled at stakeholder collaboration — comfortable working with IT teams, implementation partners, and business users in a fast-moving project environment
- Understanding of distribution operations such as stock receipt, order entry, picking, despatch, billing and returns
