Accounting and Administration Assistant

About the Company  

Be part of one of Australia’s largest food manufactures with a diverse range of leading brands.  With an immediate start this is an initial temporary opportunity until August potentially longer, Bears Lagoon location. You will be assisting the team with mainly Accounting and some Administration support, 3 days per week, and likely the role will go permanent.  Reporting into the Finance Manager where you will be surrounded by a diverse and inclusive working culture.

About the role:  

  • All Purchase Orders / Goods Receipting
  • Payroll: preparation of timesheets etc. (not processing)
  • Month End Journals
  • Utility invoices (raising and processing)
  • Weekly Reports
  • Integrated Business Planning process – front end data collection
  • Accruals
  • Corporate Credit Card expense Coding & Reconciliation
  • Raising purchase orders & undertake good receipting in SAP for Projects
  • Accounts Payable Management


About you: 

  • Previous Accounting experience including month-end duties / Reconciliations and Journals 
  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable  and Credit Card Expense Management
  • Ability to produce various reports
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written   
  • Team player   
  • MS office skills  
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels
