Job description

  • 3 week contract covering leave period
  • Inner Eastern suburbs location - Local Council
  • Attractive hourly rate

The opportunity is based in a local government authority and is responsible for providing high level administrative assistance ensuring services are delivered in a timely manner. This is a very busy environment and requires someone with a high aptitude in the MS Office suite. 
Key responsibilities:

  • Managing a number of injury claims in order to reduce the amount of administrative tasks undertaken by the wider team
  • Liaising with Relationship Managers to ensure all tasks are completed in line with procedures in place
  • Managing the overall teams administrative claims in a timely manner
  • Using judgement to identify risks and escalating issues where appropriate

To be successful in this position you will:

  • Relevant administration experience in a fast paced environment
  • Have previous experience in a similar claims role, managing competing tasks and priorities
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
