About the Role:
Our client is looking for an immediately available collections officer that is proactive and efficient, excellent communication skills and the ability to build solid relationships with internal & external stakeholders is critical to the success of this position.
- High volume calls for overdue accounts/outstanding balances
- Reconciling complex accounts that have been escalated from the AR team
- Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO
- Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within your team
- Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team
The ideal candidate:
Have 2 or more years’ experience. Understanding of systems Pronto and SAP. Our client is looking for a credit controller that has experience with:
- System P2P knowledge
- Standalone role working closely with National Sales/Credit Manager
- Government ledgers
- Strong excel skills – VLOOKUP
- Debt management
- Proactive approach
- Attention to details
