About the Role:
“Commissions Analyst” has the core responsibility of performing the reconciliations and calculations to enable timely and accurate payments to Brokers and Franchises for Commissions. The Commissions Analyst manages the data set, identifies and resolves errors, collaboratively works with the team members on attaining outcomes and manages orphan calculations.  

  • Ideal role for someone with a background in Accounts payable in that the core focus of the role is paying commissions earned by Brokers 
  • Perform the reconciliation of all commissions received and paid 
  • Calculate the commissions payable on loans by applying channel and tier rates 
  • Identify applicable business rules to validate systems outputs on commissionable dataset 
  • Work closely with technology teams to resolve systems errors and issues  
  • Identify orphan loans, reconcile data and perform matching to clear error and escalate issues 
  • Work closely with the Commissions Officer on error log resolution  
  • Provide support to the Team Leader with involvement in Projects and ad-hoc deliverables  
  • Perform calculations for commissions payable by validating business rules and applicable tiers 
  • Prepare the payment summary files and reconciliations to enable pay out 
  • Perform Reconciliation of settlement data and verification of 3 way reconciliation process 
  • UAT for new processes and business rules being applied 
  • Working closely with stakeholders with a value add perspective  
  • Liaising with Brokers and Franchises to provide change updates or resolve queries 
  • Develop and maintain reporting on commission payment data, create reporting and manage settlement data from lenders  


About You:
The ideal Candidate will;

  • Ideally have an undergraduate in commerce/finance
  • Have previous in Accounts transactional processing in AP, AR or Commissions
  • Have an Intermediate understanding of MS Excel (Pivot tables and V lookups) 
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess a meticulous attention to detail
