The Role

The Finance Officer will have the opportunity to work across financial control to prepare timely and accurate financial accounts, reports, and budgets. This operational role requires someone with exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with a variety of stakeholders. This is a position for someone with an transactional finance background who is wanting to develop with the organisation as they continue to grow!


  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
  • General Ledger reconciliations
  • Processing credit card expenses
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Monthly Payroll process and being available for employee payroll related queries from staff
  • Supporting and working on:
    • a. Month end processing and issuing of monthly invoicing/billings process
    • b. Financial / Management reporting
    • c. Budgets & forecasting
    • d. BAS / PAYG / Payroll Tax
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • General ad-hoc finance and administration duties

Required Experience:

  • Studying towards CPA/CA qualification would be beneficial, but not necessary 
  • Experience in Xero and Microsoft Excel would be advantages
  • Tertiary qualifications are preferable but not essential
  • High level of speed and accuracy within your work
  • Strong work ethic and attitude to business acumen
