About the role
A leading manufacturing business is looking to hire a Financial Accountant to join the corporate finance function and report directly into the Finance Manager.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a broad/hands on role and who wants to join a growing business
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensure revenue recognition complies to the company’s policies
- Provide technical accounting training to the business
- Inventory, inventory fixed asset and fixes asset management- including working with supply chain to manage inventory and fixed asset related matters, managing, and reviewing inventory, preparing reports for the business and supply chain divisions
- Work closely with external auditors
- Leading the month end process and making sure all deadlines are met
- Preparing month end journals
- Statutory compliance – ensuring that all statutory reports and fillings are completed correctly
- Ad hoc work
Experience required includes:
- You must have 2/3 years’ experience within a similar role (Financial Accountant/Group Accountant)
- Have strong communication skills
