Intermediate Accountant
- Up to $70k package depending on experience

About the Company
This Top 50 Accounting firm are looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join their Business Services team in Canberra. They have an international presence and provide secondment opportunities to London every year for their high performers.
In addition, you will get access to high-profile private clients (national and international) as well as ASX listed businesses across multiple industries. The clients on the books come from the following industries; Financial Services, Tech Start-Ups, Media & Entertainment, Retail, Manufacturing and Real Estate to name a few.
They provide industry leading internal and external training, an inclusive and supportive team, a promote from within policy which has produced a few home-grown partners and an office environment which is fun, inclusive and focused on providing the best service to their clients.
About the Role
- Financial statements preparation, Income Tax Returns, BAS and IAS
- Gain exposure to Div 7a, GST and Tax planning work
- Liaise with the ATO and other government agencies
- Mentor and train graduates and junior sas they come into the firm
- Tax Returns for Companies, Individuals, Partnerships and Trusts
Skills & Experience
- CA or CPA studier
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years’ experience in an accounting firm
- Exceptional communications skills, written and verbal
