About the company
My client is a progressive FinTech organisation based in Sydney CBD. Their product is sold in the finance sector and they are going through an extensive period of growth! Due to this they are currently recruiting for a Junior QA Engineer to join their IT team on a permanent basis.
About the role
Alongside their QA Manager you will be responsible for building out their test function from scratch which will include writing test plans, automating processes, running the scripts, performance loading, driving performance, unit testing and working closely with the development team to upgrade their core product and to make it more stable. This role will be reporting into their QA Manager. As the business grows you will have the opportunity to progress up the ranks into either a senior testing role, development or devops role as they love to promote from within!
About you
In order to be successful in your application for this position you will need to have the following experience:
- 1-2 years commercial experience
- Automation testing experience (desirable)
- Manual testing
- Code in C# (desirable)
- Unit testing
- Create test plans (desirable)
- Computer Science background
- Strong collaboration skills (working closely with developers)
- Good communication skills
