Job description
My client is a progressive FinTech organisation based in Sydney CBD. Their product is sold in the finance sector and they are going through an extensive period of growth. Due to this they are currently recruiting for a Java Developer to join their development team on a permanent basis.
About the role
Your main responsibilities will include analysing user requirements, architecture and design, end to end management of the platform, support, enhancements and stakeholder management. Their platform is built in Scala, React and SQL. They are happy to take on a Java Developer who is happy to upskill in Scala. This role will give you the opportunity to step up into a Senior role as you will be involved in the architecture, design and creating roadmaps.
About you
In order to be successful in your application for this position you will need to have the following experience:
- Java
- Scala (nice to have)
- JavaScript
- React
- SQL
- Docker
- Cloud (either Azure or AWS)
- Good communication skills
