Are you an experienced Internal Auditor with a background in Federal Government engagements? Do you hold Baseline Security Clearance (or are eligible to obtain it)? Join a top 10 national firm in their rapidly growing Canberra office and be part of building something new and exciting.

The Opportunity A national accounting and advisory firm is expanding its Canberra footprint and is looking for an Internal Auditor to join its newly established team. With a strong pipeline of Federal Government contracts, this is a rare chance to step into a pivotal role during a phase of strategic growth.

Currently led by 1 Partner and 1 Principal, the Internal Audit team is set to grow significantly over the next 3–6 months. You’ll be hands-on in shaping the culture, processes, and success of the department — with clear opportunities for progression.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver internal audit services for Federal Government clients
Assist with business development and client relationship management
Collaborate with NSW offices and other service lines (Tax, Audit & Business Advisory)

Requirements

Proven internal audit experience within Federal Government
Baseline Security Clearance (or ability to obtain it) is essential
CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
Driven, positive attitude with a long-term mindset
