An exciting permanent, full time opportunity for a Payroll officer has become available with one of our clients, a well-known national retailer based in the city.
About The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a fast paced, high volume payroll background.

  • Mix of monthly, fortnightly and weekly payroll 
  • Dealing with renumeration queries from employees within the business
  • Month end payroll reconciliations
  • Set up and on-boarding of new employees
  • Calculate and process redundancies, termination and other payments
  • PAYG, Super and Tax calculations
  • Interpretation of awards schemes/EBA’s 

About You:

  • Excellent organizational skills – the ability to multi-task and prioritize is a must
  • 4 years minimum experience in payroll 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience doing a similar role in the retail industry is a bonus
  • Solid admin background
  • System experience such as CHRIS21/Micropay Meridian/Preceda
