An exciting temporary opportunity in Payroll has become available with one of our clients, a Melbourne based Local Government Authority. 

About the Role:  

 This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a fast paced, high volume payroll background. Reporting to the Senior Payroll Officer the role will entail: 

  •  Processing end to end payroll on a monthly payment run for over 9000 employees 
  • Query handling across all payroll related queries 

  • Processing annual leave, sick leave, new starters, leavers etc 

  • Superannuation payments 

  • Payroll Tax & EBA’s 

  • Processing third party payments including child support 

 About You: 

This role will require you to be a proven Payroll Office with experience in:

  • Larger scale payroll / HRIS systems, ideally Authority
  • Outsourced payroll is desirable  

  • High attention to detail  

  • Excellent time management 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Intermediate Excel skills
