Job description
About the role
- Running of allocated payrolls in a timely and accurate manner
- Import and review of timesheet data
- Review & actioning of temporary and permanent pay rate changes
- Preparation of data for the Finance Team to post payroll into GL
- Dealing with internal and external stakeholders and employee queries
- Processing terminations, leave, redundancy
- Actioning of legislative changes to payroll
About You
- Proven knowledge & minimum 2-3 years’ experience working in payroll
- Ability to identify, analyse, and resolve complex, multifaceted payroll issues
- Advanced skills in organising resources & time management in establishing priorities
- Exceptional numeric and literary skills.
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of General Ledger and general accounting practices.
Desirable Experience
- Experience using Chris21
- Experience using a Time and Attendance system
- Intermediate Word & Excel skills
- Formal payroll qualification
