Job description

About the role

  • Running of allocated payrolls in a timely and accurate manner
  • Import and review of timesheet data
  • Review & actioning of temporary and permanent pay rate changes
  • Preparation of data for the Finance Team to post payroll into GL
  • Dealing with internal and external stakeholders and employee queries
  • Processing terminations, leave, redundancy
  • Actioning of legislative changes to payroll

About You

  • Proven knowledge & minimum 2-3 years’ experience working in payroll
  • Ability to identify, analyse, and resolve complex, multifaceted payroll issues
  • Advanced skills in organising resources & time management in establishing priorities
  • Exceptional numeric and literary skills.
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of General Ledger and general accounting practices.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience using Chris21
  • Experience using a Time and Attendance system
  • Intermediate Word & Excel skills
  • Formal payroll qualification
