Job description
My client, a not-for-profit sector employer based in eastern suburbs of Melbourne, are requiring an experienced end-to-end Payroll Officer to start immediately for a temporary role initially, which may turn permanent for the right candidate.

Duties to include
- End to end payroll processing
- Upload and maintenance of employee records
- Calculate leave entitlements
- Terminations
- Salary packaging calculations
- Payroll month-end reports and reconciliations
- Prepare journals
- Back pays, adjustments
- Update master files
Skills & attributes required
- High level of communication and confidentiality
- Experience in Payroll - end-to-end
- All payroll admin and calculations as above including salary packaging
- Understanding/Interpretation of awards & legislative requirements
- Customer focussed
- Microsoft packages - Word, Excel
Desirable
- Chris 21 System experience
- Tertiary Qualification in Payroll/Finance/Accounting
