About the company

My client is a leading accounting and financial planning advisory firm based in Parramatta.

About the role

As the Practice Manager you will be working hand in hand with the Directors to improve the performance of existing systems and workflows to improve productivity, efficiency and profitability of the business.

You will be required to:

  • Manage the day to day running of an office of around 30 people, Directors, Partners, Accountants and Admin staff
  • Manage a team of 4 Admin staff, implementing policies and procedures also managing workflow
  • Review and enhance workflow efficiencies across this business
  • Onboarding new starters and ensuring they are trained effectively on systems and processes when they join
  • Manage Electronic Lodgements with the ATO and other government organisations


About you:

  • Must have prior experience working as a Practise Manager within an Accountancy firm
  • 5+ years’ experience  
  • Knowledge of ASIC, ATO, MYOB and Xero
  • Must have experience implementing policies, procedures and processes within an Accountancy firm
  • Managing workflow within a high performing administration team
  • Polished presentation and impeccable client service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
