Job description

  • Support the Credit & Collections team to improve processes.

  • Minimum 6-month fixed term contract, $105k package 

  • Work from home, CBD location upon return to office with more flexibility.   

 

A chance to be part of a National energy company’s Retail & Customer Care division, focusing on improving processes within their Credit & Collections operations.  Work within a squad as part of a broader team dedicated to ensuring positive customer experience is at the forefront of Credit & Collections.  It’s an exciting opportunity to further develop your career in Business Process Analysis with a leading organisation; working with stakeholders across the business and making a tangible difference to end customers.   


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide support to the Credit Collections Operational Leads and team.  

  • Analyse end-to-end processes within the portfolio and work towards improvements in cash collections and debtor management.   

  • Drive innovation within the portfolio. 

  • Work on various project initiatives within the portfolio, liaising with key stakeholders both internal and external to your immediate team in striving towards positive outcomes and process improvements.  

  • Enhance team effectiveness and capabilities by providing targeted insights. 

  • Undertake a gap-analysis to identify operational process improvement opportunities.   

  • Identify potential bottlenecks and performance issues.  

  • Work with the Process Development Team and provide support where necessary.   

  • Liaise with other teams within the retail department – including Sales, Service, and Billings.   

  • Adhere to project governance guidelines and documentation expectations.   

  • Create process plans that contain project goals, milestones, and resources.  

  • Report and make process improvement proposals to Senior Management.   

  • Identify and mitigate project risks.  

  • Work as an individual and part of a team.  
     

Your Key Skills Required: 

  • You are an accomplished Business Process Analyst with a minimum 3-years' experience.  

  • You have experience and strong understanding of Credit & Collection teams and processes.  

  • Experience working with the energy sector is a bonus, but not essential. 

  • You have good understanding of what it means to automate tasks.   

  • You have a proven track record of driving innovation.   

  • You can evaluate busines processes and existing technology/systems to make meaningful process improvement recommendations to Senior Management 

  • You consider yourself proactive in your workstyle, always striving for improvement and team contribution.
