Job description

  • Sydney CBD Location – Close to Public Transport

In this role you will play a pivotal part working directly with the Head of EPMO.  You will have strong experience in Resource Management preferably within a PMO and Workforce Planning experience. You will be highly pragmatic and strong in stakeholder engagement. The organisation offers a highly flexible and progressive environment that will help foster personal growth and development.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage contingent workforce within the PMO, liaising and fostering strong relationships with key personal – Program & Project Stakeholders
  • Manage resources to ensure adherence to the project plan and ensure key resources are available to deliver project commitments
  • Utilising effective Workday Management of all project resources
  • Providing strategic workforce planning advice on projected resourcing requirements and project headcount needs
  • Improve resource management by providing business stakeholders with resource capacity and capability options, enabling resource optimisation and cross resourcing in order to drive efficiency in the EPMO
  • Escalate skill gaps for recruiting and up skill opportunities
  • Identify all stakeholders and secure resources needed
  • Define and report key measures of success for business-critical programs
  • Perform proactive project performance management and problem solving
  • Deliver accurate and timely reporting and communication to internal and external stakeholders outlining status, risks, issues, and action plans.
  • Work effectively with business partners, vendors, work packages and the project team

Core Requirements:

  • Solid Resource Management & Workforce Planning experience within a PMO
  • Financial Services experience
  • The ability to navigate a complex environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
