Job description
Senior Accountant
- $30-45 per hour depending on experience
- Busy and lively firm in the heart of Parramatta
- View to go perm in 3-months’ time
About the Company
A mid-sized accounting firm in Parramatta is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team for the next 3-months and depending on workload, this role is likely to go perm for the right person.
With year-end approaching, they have never been busier with BAS, Tax Returns and Stimulus Package enquiries.
The firm is highly professional, fun, inclusive and have a pretty high-profile client base in Western Sydney.
About the Role
- Financial Statements preparation, Tax Returns, Stimulus Package applications, BAS, IAS, FBT, Payroll Tax and more
- Support and mentor junior accountants when required
- Liaise and work directly with clients
- Sound knowledge of Handitax and/or Sage is preferred
Skills & Experience
- CA or CPA Qualified
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 7 years’ experience in a similar role with an Australian accounting firm
- Handitax and/or Sage experience
- High level written and verbal communication
