Senior Java Developer
Sydney
Fixed Term Contract
About the role
My client, a leading financial services organisation based on the lower north shore of Sydney is growing their development team and they are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join their business on an initial 12 month fixed term contract basis.You will design and develop new features and enhancements to their core applications, you will also be able to work effectively in a high performing team in a fully agile environment
As a Senior Java Developer you will be responsible for the production of high quality, maintainable code; participating in code reviews and investigating live issues.
Key Requirements:
- Strong core Java (8) experience
- HTML & XML
- Experience in J2EE and /or Spring boot
- Hibernate
- Object Oriented Design methodologies.
- Microservices
- Azure
- CI/CD
- Teamcity
- Web application development and architecture
- Experience with Agile
- Testing (Integration and regression)
- Excellent communication skills, good analytical and problem solving skills
