Service Now Developer

  • Global Financial Service Leader
  • 6-month contract
  • $750+ per day

About the Role

  • Requirement gathering /Due diligence
  • Configuration/Customization of the Service Now system, including creating workflows
  • Build service requests from customer requirements including requests, request items and tasks using workflows -to manage data flows from the customer to the support teams providing the service
  • Uses scripting tools and Service Now functionality create script to automate rote tasks being done in Service Now
  • Performs integrations and process automation using Service Now Orchestration
  • Experience in Integrations with 3rd party tools using (web services, SOAP, email, MID, etc.)
  • Service now implementation experience in ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB & Asset)
  • Load, manipulate and maintain data between Service-now and other systems
  • Performs system and integration testing with sample and live data Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of the application


Skills & Experience

  • ServiceNow Core development with 4+ years of experience in ITSM
  • Thorough understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes
  • Experience developing ServiceNow APIs, ServiceNow Workflows, UI Pages, Business Scripts, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes, Security Rules, JavaScript, AJax scripting
  • Experience in ITOM - CMDB, Discovery and integration with other external module (Jira, Flexera and other integrations)
  • Knowledge on JavaScript, AngularJS
  • Experience / knowledge with web UI development technologies that include HTML and CSS
  • Problem Solving skills / Agile way of working 
  • Hands-on design, development and deployment experience with the Service-now platform
  • Experience in Handling a team /Reporting and Resource management
  • CSA and Certified Application Developer is an advantage
  • Service now implementation experience in ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB & Asset) is an added advantage
  • Preferred knowledge on Portal development, Virtual Agents and Flow Designer
  • Certified in Administration and Application Development is an advantage
