System Test Analyst

Job description

This role is ideal for a strong System Test Analyst with a self-starter attitude, eager to make a difference in the community and with the ability to go above and beyond in taking responsibility for executing an end to end testing lifecycle.

• Immediate start – 30th July with high chance of extension
• Paying up to $118k package + benefits
• Inner East Melbourne Location, near a train station. You will initially be working from home

About the Company:

A fantastic opportunity to work with a leading and inclusive NFP organisation who has implemented several initiatives that are having a major impact on the community across Victoria. Subsequently, there are exciting and new technological projects currently underway requiring experienced Testing Specialists using Salesforce.

Reporting directly to the ICT Manager, the System Test Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the planning and testing processes are in place and the Service Delivery System is fully tested to support business processes prior to each launch and release to production.

About the Role:

• Execute robust test scenarios as part of project delivery
• Implement test plans for individual phases of Service Delivery System improvements
• Record test results, raise defect records and re-test fixes
• Document guidance on test planning and execution
• Document simple programs or scripts to support the testing of software
• Risk identification and management
• Perform other duties as required by the Information Systems Manager
• Responsible for championing a culture of continuous improvement that supports the organisational culture

Your Experience: 

• Minimum 2-3 years in IT Systems Testing and hands on testing software
• Experience in deployment of front-end testing
• Knowledge of practical application of standards and best practices
• Experience in a highly business-engaged environment
• Solid experience using Salesforce
• Developing ICT test suites, documentation and resolving issues
• Clear and open communication with high attention to detail
