Accountant, Inner West and WFH, professional services, $75-90k + super

My Client is a professional business services firm working mostly with clients in the construction industry providing consultancy services.

They are recruiting an Accountant to provide audit, accounting, payroll and business consulting services.

The Role:

General ledger Accountant role.

Flexible role, requiring 3 days per week in the office, one of which must be a Monday and 2 days work from home.

**Please note, this role can be part time, working three days a week for the right candidate**

• Providing clients with a high standard of bookkeeping services, including reporting, invoicing, year-end accounts, BAS preparation and tax returns.
• Managing clients' payroll, including leave entitlements, superannuation, payroll tax, FBT and workers' compensation
• Assisting with software conversions and accounting process design
• Identifying opportunities for improved efficiencies and resolving client issues
• Analysing data for payroll and employee audits

About you:

• At least three years in a similar type role
• Have a degree qualification in Commerce or relevant Accounting field
• Be CA/CPA part qualified (highly desired, not essential)
• MYOB and/or Xero expertise is critical. Quickbooks is beneficial.
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Strong communication skills - both written & verbal
• Strong organisational skills- time and task managem­­­ent
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work to deadlines
