The firms Services include Financial Planning, Accounting – Personal and Business, Mortgage Advice, Corporate Superannuation, Retirement Planning, Wealth Management, Personal Superannuation, Self-Managed Super Funds, Wealth Protection, Estate Planning and Business Consulting
About the role
The firm are looking for a Business Services Manager to act as 2IC to one of the partners, the role will ideally sit within their Norwest office however, due to multiple offices this role can be worked out of any of their offices.
This role will work closely with the Partners developing the business as well as managing existing clients and the day-to-day running of the firm. This role will also work across both compliance and advisory.
Some of the responsibilities of the role include:
- Managing a portfolio of around $800-900k in fees, along with 2 Accountants
- Clients: Wide range of clients across different industries; including manufacturing, financial services, HNWI, complex family groups up to around $100mill in turnover – some international clients
- Tax planning and restructuring advice
- Training and development of staff reporting into you
- Preparation, delegation, and review of compliance work including tax returns, financial statements, activity statements, FBT etc.
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team, developing future leaders
- Work alongside partners on firm-wide strategy, business development, and growth initiatives
- CA or CPA qualified
- Minimum 5+ years in Business Services & Tax
- Strong advisory skills
- Ability to manage portfolio whilst managing & motivating a team
