Accounts Officer - Receivables/Allocations (12 month FTC)Finance Team | Entertainment Industry | Large, Complex Organisation | Near Sydney CBD
We’re looking for a detail-driven Accounts Receivable Officer to join one of my clients in their centralised Finance function and play a key role in how cash flows through a large, dynamic organisation.
You’ll be part of a leading entertainment business and part of a Finance team of around 30, working within a dedicated Accounts Receivable & Credit function that supports multiple divisions across the business. This is a hands-on role with real accountability, visibility, and impact.
The Role
A core function of the Finance department is delivering accurate, timely Accounts Receivable management across the organisation. This role is an essential member of the centralised AR & Credit team, helping ensure cash is receipted, allocated, and reconciled efficiently across multiple debtor systems.
Your objective will be to assist in the delivery of timely and accurate receipting and allocation of cash while supporting the wider Finance team as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Process client transactions into debtor systems
- Process daily journals into the ERP system
- Perform account settlements and reconciliations
- Support debtor account management activities
- Provide general support to the Finance team as required
About You
You’re organised, reliable, and comfortable working with high transaction volumes in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy being part of a team, take pride in accuracy, and understand how critical Accounts Receivable is to the success of the wider business.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable
- Experience managing debtor accounts and reconciliations
- Familiarity with online banking systems
- Microsoft Dynamics AX experience preferred
- Intermediate Excel skills
