Job description

Apian Developer - $600 p/d

We are looking for an experienced Apian Developer to join our team and support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise integration solutions using Appian BPM. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Appian application development, workflow automation, and process optimization, along with a good understanding of databases and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement applications using the Appian Low-Code Platform
  • Build and maintain Appian workflows, process models, and business rules
  • Develop and customize Appian SAIL interfaces, forms, and dashboards
  • Configure and manage Appian objects such as records, reports, and data stores
  • Integrate Appian with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and connectors
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of Appian applications
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Support deployment and maintenance of Appian applications across environments
  • Ensure solutions follow best practices in security, scalability, and performance
  • Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 2–6 years of experience in Appian development (or relevant BPM tools)
  • Strong knowledge of Appian components: Process Models, SAIL, Expressions, Records, Reports
  • Experience with Appian Data Stores (DS) and database concepts (SQL, relational DBs)
  • Hands-on experience integrating Appian with external applications using APIs
  • Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, or plugins (optional but preferred)
  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Appian Certification (Associate/Lead Developer) is a plus
  • Experience with Appian RPA and intelligent automation tools
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git, Jenkins, etc.)

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines
