A two-partner boutique firm in the CBD is looking for a Graduate Accountant with some experience or an Intermediate Accountant to join their growing firm. The firm is located in the heart of the CBD. The Senior leadership team are excellent mentors and each staff member within the firm is provided with facetime and mentorship with the partners. They support the CA/CPA and pride themselves on their excellent and supportive culture. They have a wide variety of clients coming from all industries. One benefit of joining this firm is that all accountants, regardless of level are supported to visit clients face to face and your skills will be developed at a rate that suits you. If you are looking to get exposure to advisory or other complex areas of accounting, you will be supported here to achieve your goals.
About the Role
- Assisting in the completion of client files from start to finish, including preparation of Financial Accounts and Income Tax Returns.
- Handle various tax matters, including PSI, CGT calculations, FBT, Div7A, Trust Distributions, and GST Reconciliation.
- Prepare and lodge BASs and IASs for clients across different entities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Think strategically and provide proactive solutions to client needs.
- Recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or commerce
- Ideally have 2+ years’ experience at a local Chartered Accounting firm in Australia
- Part CA/CPA Qualified
- Likes to have fun with their team while working hard toward common goals
