About the Firm This is a well-established mid-tier public practice firm with a team of 6 specialist Partners who lead with expertise and a genuine passion for developing the people around them. - Drive team performance so deadlines are met and budgets are achieved
- Mentor, coach, and technically develop junior and intermediate team members
- Manage ATO lodgement schedules and proactively engage with clients on progress
- A degree in accounting and a minimum of 4 years’ experience managing a tax compliance team in public practice
- Proven success managing client relationships, team performance, budgets, and ATO deadlines
- Strong technical ability across tax compliance, financial statements, and complex entity structures
- Solid command of Div 7A, CGT, GST, and FBT issues — you know what to look for and how to advise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to deal with clients and stakeholders at all levels
- High attention to detail, sharp time management, and the instinct to plan ahead and delegate effectively
- The interpersonal skills to collaborate across a hybrid team and keep things running smoothly
