About the firm
Charterhouse are partnered with a fantastic mid-tier accounting and advisory firm with multiple offices across Sydney & regional NSW

The firm has a great service offering including; Business Advisory, Agri Services, Tax, Private Wealth, Assurance, Virtual CFO, Sustainability

About the role
The firm are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team due to growth  

This role will be key in being able to help manage a well-established portfolio of exciting clients.

The firm works across a range of excellent clients; their bread and butter is Agriculture clients with turnovers up to $500million however, they also have many other clients clients such as UHNW, Family Groups, Construction, Manufacturing etc.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing financial statements and taxation returns
  • Assisting with taxation issues, including GST, CGT, FBT, and Div7
  • Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
  • Managing client interactions and responsibilities – all Senior Accountants have direct client contact
  • Mentoring and training junior staff members including some review work
Skills & Experience:
  • 3-4+ years of experience in Business Services
  • Proficiency with Xero
  • Completed or currently studying towards your CA/CPA qualification
  • A strong understanding of tax and accounting fundamentals
